Michel Roux Jr. served up a tasty croque monsieur with Dijon mustard sauce and French cheese on Michel Roux’s French Country Cooking.

The ingredients are: toast made from a French country loaf, 2 tbsp unsalted butter, 1 tbsp plain flour, 400ml milk, freshly grated nutmeg, Dijon mustard, 280g grated French cheese, 160g good-quality, sliced ham, salt and black pepper.
