John Torode festive vegetarian pie (pithivier) with butternut squash, chestnuts and blue cheese recipe on This Morning

John Torode served up a tasty festive vegetarian pie (Christmas pithivier) with butternut squash, leeks, chestnuts and blue cheese on This Morning.

The ingredients are: 2 tbsp olive oil, ½ butternut squash, 60g butter, 3 small leeks, sliced in large rounds, 20 leaves of sage chopped , ½ teaspoon of nutmeg , A few sprigs of fresh thyme, ½ teaspoon of paprika , 100g vacuum pack chestnuts, chopped , 120ml creme fraiche, beaten, 80-100g gorgonzola cheese, or any cheese of your choice e.g. Cheddar, brie, blue, 800g ready-made puff pastry (not ready rolled) and 1 egg, beaten.
