James Martin beef Bourguignon with brandy, pancetta and chestnut mushrooms recipe on James Martin’s Saturday Morning

James Martin served up a tasty beef Bourguignon with brandy, pancetta and chestnut mushrooms on James Martin’s Saturday Morning masterclass.

The ingredients are: 2kg stewing steak, 2 tbsp plain flour, 2 tbsp olive oil, 150g pancetta, cut into small chunks, 1 shallot, finely chopped, 2 onions, sliced, 1 garlic clove, crushed, 75ml brandy, 500ml Burgundy red wine, 250ml beef stock, 2 bay leaves, 2 sprigs thyme, 25g butter, 110g small baby onions and 200g chestnut mushrooms.

To serve – a small bunch of parsley, chopped.
