John Torode Asian roast pork belly with white miso recipe on This Morning

John Torode served up a tasty Asian roasted pork belly with white miso and xo sauce on This Morning.

The ingredients are: 2 kg piece of belly pork, bone in, rind on , 1 tsp salt, 4 cloves garlic, crushed, 2 tsp Chinese 5 spice, 10 star anise , 2 thumbs of ginger grated , 20ml sesame oil , 30ml vegetable oil , Juice of 1 lemon , 2 tbsp of white miso paste and 4 large potatoes.

For the ginger and Soy glaze : 3 cloves garlic, crushed , 1 thumb ginger, diced , 60g soft brown sugar , 100ml dark soy , 100ml sherry or Shaoxing wine or Sake, 50ml rice vinegar and 2 large tsp hoisin sauce (or plum sauce).
