Nigella Lawson served up a delicious basque burnt cheesecake with sour cream, blackberries and a liquorice sauce on Nigella’s Cook, Eat, Repeat.
The ingredients are: 600g full-fat cream cheese, at room temperature, 175g caster sugar, 3 large free-range eggs, at room temperature, 300ml soured cream, at room temperature, ¼ tsp fine sea salt, 25g cornflour and blackberries or other berries, to serve.
For the sauce: 15g hard pure liquorice pellets, 90g caster sugar and pinch fine sea salt (optional).
