Simon Rimmer frito pie recipe on Sunday Brunch

Simon Rimmer served up a tasty frito pie with chuck steak on Sunday Brunch.

The ingredients are: 1kg chuck steak (cut in to chunks), 1 finely diced onion, 1 finely chopped scotch bonnet and ancho chilli, 1 tsp garlic powder, 1 tbsp of tomato puree, 1 tbsp of cayenne, smoked paprika, and ground cumin, 250ml tomato passata and 500ml strong beef stock.

To serve: 300g of tortillas chips (or Frito Lays if available), the finely chopped chilli, 200g of sour cream, jalapeno slices, lime wedges, chopped avocado and 225g grated Monterey jack cheese.
