James Martin makes a dessert that is never off his restaurant menu – white chocolate and whisky bread and butter pudding – on today’s episode of James Martin: Home Comforts.
James says about his dessert: “All-butter croissants are used instead of bread for an indulgent take on this old fashioned pudding.”
James makes his dessert with the following Ingredients:
500ml milk, 500ml double cream, 1 vanilla pod, split lengthways, 3 free-range eggs, 5 free-range egg yolks, 200g caster sugar, 4 large ready-made croissants, 25g sultanas, 25g butter, 175g white chocolate, grated, 3 tbsp whisky, 55g apricot jam, icing sugar, to dust.
He serves his white chocolate and whisky bread and butter pudding with honeycomb foam and homemade whisky ice cream.
