James Martin makes a mouth-watering desert, chocolate truffles with cinder toffee on today’s James Martin: Home Comforts.
James says about his dessert: “Chocolate truffles seem so indulgent, but are so simple to make. Try them with cinder toffee, also known as honeycomb toffee or hokey pokey, for a truly sweet treat.”
To make the cinder toffee, you should use a copper base saucepan, because it is excellent at retaining heat.
To make the chocolate truffles James recommends using good quality chocolate that is at least 70% coco.
