Nadia Sawalha served up a tasty musakhan with roasted chicken, rice, onions, sumac, herbs, bread and rice on Nadia’s Family Feasts.
The ingredients are: 8 Chicken Pieces, dried with a kitchen towel, 2 tbps vegetable oil and Shrak Bread (a very thin Arabic bread), or tortilla wraps or pitta bread.
For the onion mixture: 6-8 glugs olive oil, 8 large onions, sliced, 125ml (4 fl. Oz) chicken stock, A pinch caster sugarand 8-10 tbsp sumac.
