James Martin cooks a weeping style Welsh lamb with boulanger potatoes and mint sauce on today’s episode of James Martin: Home Comforts.
The food theme for the master chef’s cooking today is home-cooked treats, and if you have seen the price of Welsh lamb lately, it really has to be a treat to purchase a prime cut for dinner. However, he does say that other types of lamb are available and would make a fine meal too.
About his dish James says: “The juices from the slowly roasting leg of lamb drip into potatoes and onions to create a hearty dinner for eight, served with rich red wine gravy and sharp mint sauce.”
