Rick Stein served up tasty deep-fried pork chops in breadcrumbs with braised peas and lardons on Rick Stein’s Secret France.

The ingredients are: 4 x 175–200g pork chops, bone in, 50g plain flour, 1 large free-range egg, beaten, 100–120g panko breadcrumbs, 500–700ml vegetable oil, small handful fresh flatleaf parsley leaves, very well dried, lemon wedges (optional), freshly cooked peas, to serve, salt and freshly ground black pepper.
