Marry Berry chocolate chip traybake with mascarpone cheese, vanilla and cocoa powder topping recipe on Mary Berry’s Quick Cooking

Marry Berry served up a delicious chocolate chip tray bake with mascarpone cheese, vanilla and cocoa powder topping on Mary Berry’s Quick Cooking.

The ingredients for the sponge: 4 tbsp cocoa powder, sifted, 4 tbsp boiling water, 4 large free-range eggs, 225g baking spread, straight from the fridge, plus extra for greasing, 225g caster sugar, 225g self-raising flour, 1 tsp baking powder and 100g dark chocolate chips.

For the icing: 250g full-fat mascarpone, 3 tbsp icing sugar, sifted, 1 tsp vanilla extract and cocoa powder, for dusting.
