James Martin simple onion soup with cream recipe on James Martin’s Saturday Morning

James Martin served up a simple and incredible cream of onion soup with croutons on James Martin’s Saturday Morning.

The ingredients are: 15ml olive oil, 25g butter, 3 onions, peeled and sliced, 250ml beef stock, 250ml chicken stock, 50ml sherry and 300ml double cream.

To serve: 25ml double cream and 25ml olive oil.

For the croutons: 3 Slices of bread–cubed and 25g butter.
