John Torode served up a delicious sticky toffee pudding on his culinary adventure in the Lake District on This Morning.
The ingredients are: 350g dates, 600ml boiling water, 2tsp bicarbonate of soda, 100g salted butter, 350g sugar, 4 eggs and 350g self raising flour.
For the toffee sauce: 75g caster sugar, 25g butter and 50ml double cream.
