Mary Berry cricket cake with strawberries and lemon curd recipe

Mary Berry served up a delicious cricket cake with strawberries and lemon curd on Mary Berry’s Country House Secrets.

The ingredients are: 4 large free-range eggs, 225g self-raising flour, 225g caster sugar, 225g butter or baking spread, softened and chopped, plus extra for greasing, 1 unwaxed lemon, finely grated zest only, 1 level tsp baking powder, 500g strawberries, hulled (leaving 3 whole), 450ml double cream, whipped and 6 tbsp lemon curd.
