Nadiya Hussain oatcake with potato and dill samosas recipe

Nadiya Hussain served up oatcake, potato and dill samosas on Nadiya’s British Food Adventure.

Naydiya says: “If you can’t find these oatcakes near where you live, you can substitute shop-bought pancakes instead – they will work in exactly the same way.”

The ingredients are: 1–2 tbsp vegetable oil, 1 large white onion, finely chopped, 1 tsp salt, 2 tsp ground cumin, 150g frozen peas, defrosted, 25g fresh dill, finely chopped, 400g mashed potato, 6 Derbyshire oatcakes or 20cm pancakes, cut in half, 4 tbsp plain flour and vegetable oil, for deep-frying.
