Simon Rimmer served up a date and cinnamon loaf with mascarpone and condensed milk sauce on today’s episode of Sunday Brunch.
The ingredients are: 350g pitted dates, 350ml water, 3 eggs, 7g bicarbonate of soda, 150g butter, 175g soft dark brown sugar, 225g self-raising flour, 15g cinnamon and 1 vanilla pod.
For the sauce: 250g mascarpone, 150g condensed milk and pecans, chopped, to garnish.
