The Hairy Bikers served up slow cooked braised feather blade beef with mash potatoes, beans and carrots on Saturday Kitchen.

The ingredients are: 1kg feather blade steak, trimmed and cut into 250g pieces, 3 tbsp oil, 3 bannana shallots or 1 medium onion, sliced, 2 celery sticks, trimmed, sliced, 2 carrots, thickly sliced, 2 garlic cloves, crushed, 250ml red wine, 500ml beef stock, 2 tbsp tomato purée, 4-5 sprigs fresh thyme, 1 bay leaf, 1 tsp English mustard and sea salt and freshly ground black pepper.
