Tom Daley and diving partner James Denny wins silver for synchronised diving at The Commonwealth Games

Tom Daley and diving partner James Denny wins silver for the 10m synchronised diving at The Commonwealth Games.

The pair took home 399.36 points, but lost out on the gold to Australian diving star Matthew Mitcham and diving partner Dominic Bedggood, who finished on 399.54 points.

Daley was the defending champion in the event which he won in Dehli with Max Brick four years ago.

Daley and Denny was over the moon with their achievement tonight, because they have only had three occasions to practice before the big event.

Daley and Denny looked like they might finish outside only two medal positions – because only four teams started and in accordance with Commonwealth Games rules – before nailing their final dive to almost snatch the gold.
