One Direction are currently touring South America but the boys are having to deal with the latest news of their image being ripped off to promote condoms they have not consented to.
The batches of Condoms are called ‘One Erection’, with the stag line ‘Up All Night’ which obviously refers to the lads’ 2011 studio album.
The branding also feature the ‘1E’ logo on the packaging that is exactly the same as One Direction’s logo, that has infuriated Zayn, Harry, Niall, Liam and Louis’s management company.
The boys previously turned down a £1 million deal to release their own condom range with Durex following the success of their fellow X Factor boyband JLS’s condom range campaign.
A source told the Daily Star: “The boys heard about the condoms and found them hilarious. But their management team aren’t seeing the funny side.
“They are considering bringing in lawyers to stop them shamefully exploiting the band the sell condoms. It’s only a small US online firm so management weren’t too concerned at first, but they are still worried the range damages the group’s image.
“What makes it worse is 1D have turned down various big-bucks offers to bring out their own official range. So they aren’t happy someone else is cashing in on their sex-symbol status”.
