Astronauts are required to have a range of talents and abilities before they are blasted off into space, but one talent they are not required to have, is the ability to sing.

However, if you have such a talent, then packing you guitar along with your space suit must be the right thing to do particularly if you have a plant of millions below you to entertain. Canadian astronaut Chris Hatfield did just that on is recent mission to the international space station.

The space Commander has been delighting space enthusiasts for the past 5 months with his tweets from the International Space Station, but to mark his farewell, Chris boldly went were on one has gone before posting his cover version of David Bowie’s Space Oddity, recorded 230 miles above the earth, on Youtube.
