Jake Quickenden A Thousand Years at X Factor 2014 Bootcamp

Jake Quickenden
Jake Quickenden makes it to another X Factor bootcamp two years in a row with the hope of booking a place at judges houses once more.

The 25 year old singer from Scunthorpe, made it to Nicole Scherzinger’s judges house in 2012, before getting the boot, so he has been through it all before and would expect to be confident performing at Wembley Arena for the panel once more.

However, Jake was in tears before he even took to the stage and admitted:

“I feel like I am going to cry and I’m not even on the stage. It’s been a bit of a roller coaster so far.:”

Jake added:

“I have been in this situation and it wasn’t easy last time. It’s not easy this time but I am going to fight a lot harder. I am terrified of getting rejected and of letting people down and myself down.”

Jake went on to perform ‘A Thousand Years’ by Christina Perri for the panel and it was enough to win Simon Cowell over so muchh so that hhhe pleaded with Melanie Brown to give Jake a place in her final six for judges houses.

He said:

“If it was my choice you would be in a chair.”
