Ben Haenow made his bid for a place at bootcamp at the X Factor arena auditions with a Rolling Stones track.
The 29 year old van driver could well emerge as a favourite on the X Factor this year after wowing the judges yet again.
Ben previously revealed that he builds on his experience by busking on London’s Southbank in the summer and that experience might just pay dividends on The X Factor this year.
After his performance of ‘Wild Horses’ Simon Cowell told him: “What you brought today is 10-12 years of learning how to be a singer, learning how to perform for a crowd.”
He added: “Every little gig you’ve done in the past has led to this. It wasn’t perfectby the way, you can do better than that, but I think you will be one to watch. Not only do you have a great rock voice, but you’ve got a great blues voice.”
