Friends of Union J audition for X Factor 2014 the band revealed on Lorraine ahead of new single release

It’s been two years since Union J shot to fame on The X Factor and today the band appeared on Lorraine on ITV to promote their new single title ‘Tonight (We Live Forever)’.

Josh, JJ, George and Jamie, helped to produce the track and say that it defines them as a band. The boys release their single on Sunday and revealed that this is a very nervous time for them and has had very little sleep during the past week.

Tonight (We Live Forever) is the first track the band has released since their previous hit ten months ago and are nervous but also excited about the release.

The band also revealed that this year a few of their friends have auditioned for the X Factor inspired by their success both on and off the show. However, they were not prepared to reveal the names of their friends.

Union J also showed their support for former X Factor judge Tulisa Contostavlos, following her recent drugs trial.

N-Dubz star Tulisa had been accused of offering to help introduce an undercover reporter to an alleged drug dealer and was cleared of the charge in court last month when the judge dismissed the case against her.

Speaking to Kate Garraway on ITV’s Lorraine, the Union J boys said they thought it was “a shame” that people had made assumptions about the singer from the bad press she had received.
