X Factor 2012: New band Union J replace Rough Copy at Judges Houses

unionj the x factorThis season as seen the strongest group line-up on The X Factor for many years triggered in our view as a result of Little Mix’s victory in last year’s competition and the success of One Direction across the globe. For a moment it was also looking as though the judges would not have to put a band together for the first time in many years.

However, as a result of Rough Copy having to drop out of the competition, the judges decided to create a new group by inviting back Triple J and George Shelley.

Triple J narrowly missed out on a place at judges house when they lost the final sing-off to GMD3 in a tense and emotional battle. However, George Shelley was invited to join the band and the four boys decided to call themselves Union J.

Therefore George, 18, joins JJ Hamblett, 23, Josh Cuthbert, 19, and Jaymi Hensley, 22 in the newly formed group.

Jaymi and Josh formed the band after attending the Silvia Young school together. With the additional fourth member it could make them a stronger band. We will see this weekend if they make it to the live shows.
