2011: Marcus Collins would make George Michael proud with Wham’s I’m Your Man Week 8 X Factor Live

This week for his two songs in tonight’s show, Marcus Collins and his mentor Gary Barlow chose, ‘I’m Your Man’ by Wham and ‘Lately’ by Stevie Wonder.
Last week they both promised we would see Marcus deliver a ballad this week and there would also be another surprise. Well certainly ‘Lately’ is a ballet but not one of our favourites and I guess doing a George Michael song is something a bit different from Marcus, but we were hoping for something a bit more radical.
We enjoy his old school vibe every week, but would love to see him sing a modern song and put his old school vibe on it.
However, he certainly delivered with I’m Your Man tonight, just like we thought he would. It would not be right to have a semi finals without this lad, lets hope the public gets him the way we do.
