Boyband One Direction are set to conquer the United States after signing a record deal stateside.
The popular X Factor pop group will try and achieve what many British bands before them have attempted and failed to achieve including another X Factor band, JLS.
The teenagers are reportedly jetting off to the other side of the Atlantic next Spring for a tour in a bid to crack the notoriously tough US charts.
The Sun reports that the group, who finished in third place last year, have signed a deal with American record label Columbia, home to current worldwide British chart topper Adele.
The boys – Louis, Zayn, Niall, Harry and Liam – will tour America in February and March following their UK tour which kicks off in December.
Earlier this year the boys spent time in the States working on their debut album which is out this week. Recent reports stateside indicates that their music have already received air play from a number of radio stations in the country.
