Rav Gill naan peshwari wraps with paneer masala filling recipe on Junior Bake Off

Rav Gill showcased her tasty naan peshwari wraps with paneer masala filling for today’s technical challenge on Junior Bake Off.

The ingredients for the naan dough are: 250g strong white bread flour, 1 tsp baking powder, 2 tbsp caster sugar, 1 tsp salt, 1 medium egg, 235ml whole milk and 140-150g self-raising flour, plus extra for dusting.

For the Peshwari filling: 2 tbsp desiccated coconut, 2 tbsp runny honey, 140g ground almonds, 4 tbsp single cream, 2 tbsp golden sultanas and 2 tbsp coconut oil.

For the paneer masala filling: vegetable oil, for frying, 200g paneer, 1 onion, finely diced, 2 tsp garlic, minced, 1 tsp cumin seeds, ½ tsp ground cinnamon, ½ tsp chilli powder, 1 tbsp tomato puree, salt, to season and 100g chopped tomatoes, fresh or from a tin.
