Kumquat Cheesecake Mousse Chinese desert recipe by Nadia Sawalha on The Alan Titchmarsh Show

Nadia Sawalha serves up a delicious Kumquat Cheesecake Mousse to celebrate Chinese New Year on The Alan Titchmarch show.

Nadia makes her cheesecake with a meringue made from egg whites and sugar, and ginger biscuits as the base for the cheesecake.

She adds the meringue to a ginger, crème fresh and cream cheese mixture to form the filling for her cheesecake.

For the Kumquat topping, Nadia makes it by boiling Kumquat oranges for 45 minutes then adds sugar and jam to create an orange marmalade.

The recommended wine for this dessert by wine expert Helen Mcginn is the Hermits Hill Botrytis Semillion.
