The Apprentice 2011 hits a series high viewing figures

The ApprenticeThis year’s series of the Apprentice had its biggest audience on Wednesday night with more than 8 million people tuning in as Melody Hossaini became the latest candidate fired from the show.

The revised aim of the show that now sees Lord Sugar searching for a business partner and not an apprentice, has proven popular with the public.

An average of 8.3 million people watched the tenth episode, which saw the remaining sixth candidates tasked with reinvesting profits by selling wholesale goods. The show peaked with more than 9 million viewers as Lord Sugar gave Melody her marching orders.
