Simon Rimmer served up delicious vegan chocolate brownies on today’s episode of Sunday Brunch.
The ingredients are: 175ml orange juice, 250g vegetable oil, 125g golden syrup, 125g maple syrup, 250g flour, 100g cocoa, 50g chopped dairy free chocolate, 2 tsp bicarbonate of soda, 2 tsp baking powder, 1 tsp fresh grated nutmeg, 2 tsp ground cinnamon, 1 pinch salt, 6 beets, grated, 25g fresh grated ginger, 125g golden raisins, 125g lightly crushed hazelnuts, Zest 1 orange and 250g soft light brown sugar.
For the frosting: 200ml beetroot juice and 250g sifted icing sugar.
