Antonio Carluccio served up a tasty stuffed chicken leg dish for Jamie Oliver on Saturday Kitchen to kit start his food revolution day.
Antonio says about his dish: “Carefully removing the bones from chicken legs can be a little tricky, but the result is juicy meat encased in crisp skin and bacon. Yum!”
The ingredients are: 4 whole chicken legs, 4 thin slices back bacon and 3 tbsp olive oil.
For the stuffing: 50g fresh white breadcrumbs, 75g mortadella, cut into strips, ¼ nutmeg, grated, 1 tbsp freshly chopped parsley, 1 garlic clove, finely chopped, 2 free-range eggs, salt and freshly ground black pepper.
To serve: 2 tbsp olive oil, 2 garlic cloves, peeled and chopped, 1 red chilli, chopped and 50g spinach.
