Phil Vickery served up a tasty char siu pork with stir-fried Spring cabbage dish on This Morning.
The ingredients for the belly pork: 1kg belly pork in one piece, rind removed, 200mls chicken or pork stock and 6 cloves garlic, crushed.
For the sauce: 2-3 tbsp any oil, 2 small onions, finely chopped, 4 cloves of garlic, finely chopped, 2 tbsp fresh ginger, finely chopped, 150mls soy sauce or tamari, 150mls water, 4 tbsp smooth peanut butter, 2 tbsp runny honey, 4 tbsp tomato ketchup, 1 tbsp sesame oil, 2 tbsp any vinegar, ½ tsp dried chilli flakes and 500-600g roasted pork belly, fattier the better cut into 3cm pieces.
For the spring cabbage: 4 tbsp olive oil, 50g unsalted butter, 2 cloves of garlic, 1 large onion, VERY finely chopped, 4 heavy, young spring greens (outer leaves removed, then shredded finely) and salt and pepper.
