John Whaite served up delicious guilt-free millionaire’s shortbread using Ben Longworth recipe on today’s episode of Lorraine.
The ingredients for the base: 125g gluten free oats, 125g ground almonds, 4 tbsp water, 40g pitted medjool dates, chopped, 1 tbsp maple syrup and 2 tbsp smooth, sugar-free almond or peanut butter.
For the filling: 300g pitted medjool dates, 120g smooth, sugar-free almond or peanut butter, ½ tsp vanilla extract, 40g walnuts (chopped or halves) and 150ml water.
To decorate: 200g gluten free dark chocolate.
