John Whaite served up a tasty meat free lentil and chickpea curry on today’s episode of Lorraine.
The ingredients are: 2tsp coriander seeds, 1tsp cumin seeds, 3 dried red chillies, 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste, 1 tsp turmeric, ¼ tsp ground cinnamon, 1tsp tomato puree, Juice ½ lime (save the rest to garnish), 1tsp honey, 1 green chilli, finely sliced, 1 tbsp rapeseed or olive oil, 1 onion, finely chopped, 300ml good-quality vegetable stock, 400g can lentils (any colour), drained, 400g can chickpeas, drained, 2 tbsp fresh chopped coriander and Boiled rice, chapattis and raitia (optional) to serve.
