Got To Dance 2011 Series 2 Semi Finalists Revealed

The Got To Dance auditions are now over and these are the 28 semi finalists chosen by the judges Ashley Banjo, Kimberley Wyatt and Andrew Garcia from the 200 acts that were short listed.

The judges could not decide between 8 of the acts so they organised a dance-off to fill the last 4 places. The acts in each category had to “face-off” their opponent with one dance; the judges then decided the winner and that act went through to the semi finals. The 8 acts in the dance-off were:

Alleviate v Sean and Stacey.
Dance Dynamix v Frameous.
Lauren v Natalie.
Addam McMillian v Crazy Popper.

We believe that they have chosen a number of really good acts but we are a bit disappointed that a few of our favourites did not make it.

The semi finals will start next Sunday on Sky 1 and Sky 1 HD and the public will now vote to decide the winner of each show.
