According to reports Rebecca Ferguson has secured a record deal following her excellent performance on The X Factor last year.

The singer, who was said to have agreed a deal with Simon Cowell’s label Syco, has now signed a joint contract with Epic Records, The Sun reports.

Both companies are a sub division of label giant Sony, whose roster includes Britney Spears and Kings Of Leon.

Ferguson is the third former X Factor act to agree a similar contract, after JLS and Olly Murs both signed a joint agreement with both labels.
