The Hairy Bikers sweet and savoury pierogi dumplings recipe on Saturday Kitchen

Si and Dave served up sweet and savoury pierogi dumplings in Scandinavia on Saturday Kitchen.

The ingredients for the sweet pierogi are: handful of large mint leaves, picked from their stems and 1 free-range egg white and 100g caster sugar.

For the dough: 250g plain flour, 15g icing sugar, pinch salt, 1 lemon, zest only, 1 free-range egg, 2 tbsp sour cream and knob of butter.

For the filling: 200g fresh blueberries and 2 tbsp caster sugar, plus a little extra for cooking.

To serve: 100ml sour cream or crème fraiche and 1 tbsp icing sugar, plus more for sprinkling.
