James Martin dark chocolate and figs mousse cake recipe on Home Comforts at Christmas

James Martin served up a delicious light dark chocolate and figs mousse cake for the festive season on Home Comforts at Christmas.

The ingredients are: 300g plain chocolate, 150g butter, plus extra for greasing, 8-10 fresh figs, cut in half from top to bottom, 6 free-range eggs, separated, 50g caster sugar, 4 tbsp orange liqueur, such as Cointreau or Grand Marnier, plus extra to taste, 300ml double cream and 2 tbsp cocoa powder.
