Dean Edwards served up a tasty Bubble and squeak with gammon and egg dish on today’s episode of Lorraine.
The ingredients for the bubble and squeak are: 30g unsalted butter, 1 tbsp oil, 1 large onion, sliced, 500g potatoes (Maris Piper or King Edward), chopped and boiled and ½ savoy cabbage, shredded and blanched.
For the gammon and eggs: 4 small unsmoked gammon steaks, 2 tbsp maple syrup, 80ml apple juice, 1 heaped tbsp wholegrain mustard and 4 free range eggs.
