Ching’s sweet and sour pork with egg-fried rice recipe on Lorraine

Ching served up a tasty sweet and sour pork with egg-fried rice dish on today’s episode of Lorraine.

The ingredients are: 2 pork loin chops or steaks, 2 tbsp groundnut oil, Light soy sauce, A dash of Shaoshing rice wine or dry sherry and Ground white pepper.

For the pork coating: 3 tbsp roasted whole soya beans or dry roasted peanuts, A pinch of sea salt (optional), A few pinches of ground white pepper and 1 tsp crushed dried chillies.

For the sweet and sour sauce sauce: 125g tinned pineapple, in natural juice, 125ml pineapple juice and 3 tbsp freshly squeezed lime juice.

For the egg fried rice: 1 tbsp groundnut oil, Diced carrots, 1 handful of peas, 1 spring onion, Cooked brown rice, 2-3 organic free-range eggs, lightly beaten, 1 tbsp low sodium light soy sauce, 1 pinch of ground white pepper and 1 dash of toasted sesame oil.
