Chicken liver pate recipe on The Hairy Bikers’ Northern Exposure

Si and Dave served up a tasty brandy chicken liver pâté served with a Latvian salad on The Hairy Bikers’ Northern Exposure.

The ingredients are: 15g butter, ½ small onion or one shallot, finely chopped, 1 sprig fresh thyme, leaves picked and finely chopped, 400g chicken livers, roughly chopped, 1 tsp finely ground white pepper, 3 allspice berries, finely ground (available online and in some supermarkets) and 50ml sherry or brandy and salt, to taste.
