The ingredients are: 1 whole chicken, jointed, skin removed, 2 onions, roughly chopped, 5 carrots, roughly chopped, 2 sweet potatoes, roughly chopped, 1 celery stalk, trimmed, roughly chopped, 1 leek, trimmed, roughly chopped, ½ swede, roughly chopped, 2 chicken stock cubes, 2 beef stock cubes, 1 bay leaf, 300g vermicelli, 1 x 230g tin butterbeans and salt and freshly ground black pepper.
