John Whaite Black Forest gateau recipe on Lorraine for Eurovision

John Whaite made a delicious black forest gateau on Lorraine to celebrate the Eurovision song contest.

The ingredients are: 3 large eggs, 90g caster sugar, 80g plain flour and 15g cocoa powder.

For the Filling: 390g jar black cherries in kirsch, 200ml double cream, 2tbsp icing sugar and 40g milk chocolate, coarsely grated.

To Finish: 2tbsp cocoa powder and 40g dark chocolate, melted.
