James Tanner Maple and thyme chicken with bacon hash recipe on Lorraine

James Tanner serves up maple and thyme chicken with served with sweetcorn, bacon hash and green bean on Lorraine.

Hash is a dish consisting of diced meat, potatoes, and spices that are mixed together and then cooked either alone or with other ingredients such as onions.

The ingredients are: 2 x skin on chicken breasts, 1 tbsp maple syrup, 1 tbsp thyme leaf, 2 large baking potatoes, 1 cob corn trimmed kernals or small can of sweetcorn, 1 diced banana shallot or small onion, 2 rashers of smoked streaky bacon cut into lardons, 100g fresh runner beans top and tailed cut into thin slices on an angle, 300ml reduced chicken stock, 1 heaped tbsp creme fraiche, 1 tbsp chopped flat leaf parsley and Olive oil for cooking.
