Kitty Hope and Mark Greenwood makes sherbet dippers and pulled butter toffees on Sweets Made Simple.
The duo says about their pulled butter toffees: “Traditional, rich and creamy butter toffee is easier to make than you might think.”
And about their sherbet dippers: “For a super sweet treat, share out these lemon lollies dipped in homemade zingy lemon sherbet.”
The ingredients for the sherbet dippers are: vegetable oil, for greasing, 150g/5½oz granulated sugar, ½ lemon, juice only, 1 tbsp liquid glucose, 4 lolly sticks, 1 lemon and 100g caster sugar and 1 tsp powdered citric acid (from the chemist).
For the butter toffees: vegetable oil, for greasing, 1–2 rashers of unsmoked streaky bacon, 10g pecans, toasted and chopped, 150g caster sugar, 25g golden syrup, 2 tbsp maple syrup and 4 lolly sticks.
