Alysia Casey Swedish Meatballs with Lingonberry Sauce recipe on James Martin’s Saturday Morning

Alysia Casey served up tasty Swedish Meatballs with Lingonberry Sauce on James Martin’s Saturday Morning.

The ingredients are: 500g beef mince, 500g pork mince, 2 slices white bread, blitzed into crumbs, 2 egg yolks, 1 onion, minced, Nutmeg, Allspice, Black pepper and Salt.

For the sauce: 2 tbsp flour, 2 tbsp butter, 100ml double cream, 200ml beef stock, Salt and pepper.

To serve: Mash and Lingonberry sauce (see below).

Lingonberry Sauce: 1kg lingonberries, 500g caster sugar, Splash of Cointreau and 1 orange, juice.
