Simon Rimmer served up tasty Smash Burgers with Chips on Sunday Brunch.
The ingredients are: 500g beef mince with 15-20%fat, 2 x brioche buns, toasted, 2 finely sliced large gherkins (sliced into rounds), 2 x slices mature cheddar, 2 x slices gruyere, 3 finely chopped gem leaves and 2 rounds of red onion.
For the Sauce : 200g mayo, 40g ketchup, 40g yellow burger mustard, 3 chopped gherkins, 20ml white wine vinegar, 2 teaspoons cayenne, 2 teaspoons smoked paprika and Pinch garlic powder.
Serve with big fat chips with salt and vinegar.
