Ronnie Murray Midweek Fish Pie recipe on James Martin’s Saturday Morning

Ronnie Murray served up a tasty Midweek Fish Pie on James Martin’s Saturday Morning.

The ingredients are: 2 fillets of cod, skinned and pin boned, 2 fillets of undyed smoked haddock, skinned and pin boned, 2 portions of salmon, skinned and pin boned and 150g cooked peeled prawns.

For the top: 1 kg maris piper potatoes, peeled and cut into pieces if very large, 60g butter, 100g milk, 1 egg yolk, Sea salt flakes and ground white pepper.

For the sauce: 30g plain flour, 40g butter, 400g milk and 200g double cream.

To go in the sauce: 1 packet parsley chopped, 1 tbsp Dijon mustard, 50g diced gherkins, 20g chopped capers, 100g grated cheddar and 100g frozen peas.
