Samira Effa served up her amazing ‘On Your Marks Get Set Go!’ stopwatch shape dessert on The Great British Menu.
Samira says: “The dessert was made up of a blonde chocolate and almond feuilletine, almond sponge soaked in yuzu, kirsch and cherry liqueur, a liquid centre, cherry compote, white chocolate lemongrass and kaffir lime mousse, all encased in white chocolate. Sugar paper was used for the clock face and tempered chocolate was used for the start stop buttons and the frame of the stopwatch. The string is made from white chocolate modelling clay.”
